Does anyone know a moving company that specialize in moving mid-size grand on West coast? I'm trying to get a quote to move a piano from southern CA to Washington. Thank you.

I would recommend Keyboard Carriage. We've used them twice for long distance moves. They did a great job and are very professional. The only drawback is that they only pick up from and deliver too piano dealers. So you would also have to use local movers for pickup from your residence and delivery to your new place.

I would recommend Big Al's Moving out of Vancouver, Washington. They moved my Model A down from Washington State, Seattle area, to Northern California, with a brief stay in their climate controlled facility in Vancouver, Wash. until escrow closed on our new house.
They travel all over the western continental US. After dropping off my piano, their crew was off to Kansas. Check 'em out at BigAlsMovers.com, ask for Beth or Vicky.

I would also recommend Big Al's Moving. Very high quality movers, and moving around the West coast is very difficult with Keyboard Carriage. Plus Big Al's can come to the home and pick up like a local mover. http://www.bigalsmovers.com/

They are also used by the dealerships. Good folk, well-trained, and reasonably priced.
