It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
I've just had a change of heart. I'm going to post something now. I recently had an online encounter with someone outside of this forum that was less than satisfactory, to put it mildly. As usual, it's music that can help me move on.
I've played this once before. However, I think it's fine to share it again. That's what friends are for!
Thanks! Now I can take my nap and move on to recovery.
Sorry to here that Griffin, hopefully you wull be able to forget it all really quickly, whatever it was. I am still busy but will be popping back in throughout the evening from time to time! Later dudes and dudettes.

So, yesterday morning I fell asleep on the bus and as a consequence missed my stop by a substantial margin. Anyway, to make a short story short, the bus I had to catch to correct this error took me past some store front windows, and do you know what I saw. I saw . . . . A Christmas Tree! Can you believe that. I absolutely love Christmas, but before Halloween! This is a massive injustice. I must rectifiy it immediately by playing something very scary.
This is based on a true story. I know because it happened to a friend of a friend, who had a uncle, who swore this happened to his 2nd cousin once removed. No joke. This is very relevant to piano players so you better watch it . . . for your own safety.
Rossy, the kids love Ipads, if you forward me your shoebox, containing an Ipad, Iphone and all the new gadgets u mention, I will be sure to pass it on, Thnx for taking part in this worthy cause!
(PS did you see the vid, where the young lad had a hair comb amongst his shoebox stuff, and was combing his head pmsl, 'cos he hadn't any hair)
Wayne, I can't see your vids. Did you lock out my country? Don't know if that's the problem.
Yes, Sting and Dusty both used to be children, so thought it was entirely inappropriate for you, so had to block Holland from viewing the posts, my apologies!
I dont trust Sting, he was the very first "stalker" "every breath you take I will be watching you"
"every single day in every single way, I will be there just watching you" very creepy indeed.
dusty is excellent Wayne..
I dont know who Sting was stalking, some say it was the guy who ended up being a floater in Michael barrymores pool.

Elene, string players are not off topic, whats a piano if not a stringed instrument?
What is Alien hand syndrome?, its not that thing is it when your hand goes dead becuase you have been sleeping on it and then you "use" the "dead hand" to do stuff is it?

I trust Wayne was joking there, nobody knows why youtube blocks some videos in certain countries, it's either an interent conspiracy or a very mysterious mystery. I bet Bill gates knows, because he is in charge of the internet and spends all day just checking folks are using it correctly, if they are not he sends them virus's so they get ill and have to stay in bed or sometimes, he sends them a trojan horse with techys hiding inside that jump out of the horse in the night and raze your house to the ground.

Aha!! So that's why I've been down in bed all this week! How unfair. I didn't even get a trial to properly defend myself from his wrong perceptions about myInternet usage. Undaunted, I shall forge ahead with my plans for Sunday classical postings! I'll be back a little later with some classical treats to share.
Good Sunday everyone! I'm feeling much better today, though I still need to take it easy. One of the things that lifts my spirits is posting my classical selections for Sunday. I have several for you today, which hopefully are varied enough that everyone should find something enjoyable to hear.
Without further delay we'll start with "Appalachian Spring" by American composer Aaron Copland. The theme Copland uses is from an old American Shaker hymn, "Simple Gifts." Nicholas Alexander Brown conducts The Irving Fine Society Ensemble It will be presented in three parts. Have a listen.
