It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Loc: Spain, Europe
Hi to everyone! Well, after a period of time in which I've been able to enjoy of my summer holidays, it's time to work again, so here you have one of my last BIG works
Here you have the Danse Macabre, a masterpiece composed by Camille Saint-Saëns for the orchestra, based on a poem from Henri Cazalis (so we can say that's a symphonic poem) The transcription was done by Liszt and this arrangement (harder than the Liszt's one, what isn't small xD) was done by the great Vladimir Horowitz
This masterpiece and the "Godowsky's Studies on Chopin's Études" are the hardest pieces I've ever played.
well, you obviously have a great technique. I really liked your double octaves. What i can say is that it's very muffled, maybe because of the audio quality, maybe because this kind of work is a little bit "virtuoso-all-over-the-place"... I don't know. It really isn't my kind of music anyways... But congratulations, we can obviously see you worked very hard in this warhorse!
