Diretonic, as you are in debt to the Satie museum, you owe it to everyone to attempt Saties vexations with all the indicated repeats.
I believe it takes around sixteen hours or so...
John cale (ex v/underground) did it years ago along with john cage and many others, if that isnt surreal enough , then I dont know what is.
And as this footage from the time shows, it didnt matter how many times cale played it, he didnt memorise it!!!

Great, Peyton! Now we have just two pieces available.
MaryAnn, I wish you a speedy wrist recovery.
I’ve been working on the Gnossienne No 4 for only one week, and I think that I’m learning faster than usually I do. I’m not spending more time a day on the piano, but I focus on my practice with better concentration. Teamwork is really a big motivation.
Diretonic, the recital would be posted on RST, as it was the idea of RST members, is that ok with you?
- ok, I'll pick up a day pass...

I'd rather scrub the museum floors! I've always had mixed feelings about Satie. Of course there was no escape from Gymnopedie, one of the most overused bits of background TV/radio music ever, usually behind a program about recovery from trauma. So you end up being fond of it. I had a gnossienne 1-3 phase in the car, very effective for safe driving. Vexations would be good for driving in hellish London traffic but you'd need an 8 hour warm-up just to get really p'd off.

Happy birthday lady chen, Ok folks, I am not playing in this round as I spent much too much time on met4 last round.
do not forget I have chosen op38 no2 for mendelssohn though!!! for next time.
However, unless wayne wants to do it I am prepared to put them all up on RST together like I did last time.
Even though no one actually realised that takes work lol.
How it worked was that everyone sent me their youtube link in a PM, with a little text explaining their persoal journey with their chosen piece, just a bit of blurb to go with it..
I then posted them all up in the same place on RST on the same day at the same time by post holding pages so no one posted inbetween, to make it a continuous recital.
As wayne has allready put in much work for this one I will leave it up to him to decide if he wants me to do the same?
Over to Yorkshire.......wayne?
