Rossy and Wayne (if you're there),

Just a quick hidey ho to thank you both for posting your very kind comments on my youtube video, which could have been oh sooooooo much better. Rossy, I particularly appreciated your chivalrous indigation on my behalf, although given my record with this crazy tablet, the "idiot" who hit the "dislike" button could well have been me. I mean I got a hairsbreath too close to the screen and inadvertently hit the "submit" button on my ecital application before I meant to. Or does this just sound like wishful thinking on my part? I can't wait until I get my voice recognition software to use with my Mac so I can say goodbye to multiple badly edited posts forever.lol!

No probs Starr Keys, I never thought it might have been your good self that hit the dislike button!! OOOps. Anyways, lets keep believeing it was a "lone gunman" lol.

Er, the voice recognition software will be good as far as giving that arm a rest is concerned, but er, well dont bank on it being flawless, I know the windows one has its own set of problems, as far as exactly recognising is concerned.

You may find your self replying to someone who has said "what?" and when you look at what was written, you may say "OMG, no I didnt say that, I said this......"

Hopefully not to often!! lol.

Hi all! Really bad toothache today. Dentist says he can fit me in 6 March!!! Will call back on Monday to see if they have any cancellations...

I need things to take my mind off... Rossy, I watched the Ninth Gate and found it quite enjoyable Do you have any further recommendations for toothache-defying entertainment?

Not at the moment Eglantine, but I may have to think of something soon ( see david helfgott thread on pianists corner!) dont bother with clove oil its naff and tastes bad.... there is one thing, if you have any spirits, whiskey or the like a small mouthfull held on the tooth for five mins will hurt like hades for a few seconds and then give five mins relief at a time.... when it gets unbearable anyways, its worth considering... personal experience!!

It got me off to sleep after a few goes, a few nights...

OOOH, cannot remember Do I eat the skin on the aggis..?? its in the oven right now...

No, you don't eat the 'wrap'.

get the whiskey out girl!!!! Rossy suggests "whiskey all ins" helps with the cold, with the proviso not to sleep outside of course....

Right dudes and dudettes, Piano joy has reminded me of some good songs, by accident....
So after a small argument in PC I feel this is appropriate as a first one!!!

Chumbawamba and "enough is enough" the first of three from me tonight.....

The production on this song is nothing short of stunningly exact!!

Everything jumps out so clear!!

Hi my friends!

I wanted to post about the soviet composer Kara Karayev. He wrote amazing symphonies, with many tonal resources. I encourage listening his third symphony, which sadly I haven’t found on Youtube.

But he also composed incidental music, like the ballet “Don Quixote”. Here we can listen to three little excerpts. This music has wonderful melodies, with imaginative developments, in my opinion. I hope you like it.

Don quixotes travelling seemed very dark Recaredo.. whereas Don quixotes death is very beautifull and melodic.. wonderfull.. when did Kara Karayev Live and write these?

Karayev was an Azerbaijani composer. He died recently, in 1982.

No probs, thanks Recaredo glad to help. I am off to bed now, to sleep and hopefully have the ghost of liszt visit me in the night and help me with some things piano.

Every night when I go to sleep I ask that if liszt wants to use me as his earthbound piano slave, he can do if he teaches me what to play and how to do it...

I ask for these dreams every night, please liszts ghost do visit me.
