How to repair a Kawai M8000

So I'm looking to buy a MIDI-keyboard, and my eye has fallen on a second-hand €120 Kawai M8000. Only problem is, 4 keys don't register. Would it be possible to repair this myself? If it's just rust or disintegrated rubber I can probably do it myself, but if the problem is in software then it'll be a pig in a poke. Can't find much information on the internet about repairing keyboards. Should I take the leap?

Depending on how handy you are, you can fix all sorts of hardware problems. I bet you could swap the rubber domes or even maybe the switches from a working key in a less-useful location for the ones that no longer work.

A service manual would be awesome, I can only find the regular manual on the internet. Switching parts from the broken keys to the less used keys is something I hadn't thought of already, thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably get my parents to help me pick it up, as the keyboard+case is 105 lbs...

50 KGs was pretty heavy to carry down two sets of stairs but we made it. Here's a picture with the keyboard already upside down: Managed to break another 4 or five keys while opening it and toying around, and some keys need to be hit rather hard to register, so maybe it's dust. The rubber domes are in excellent state though. I'll be completely disassembling it and cleaning all the dust and rust to see if that'll help. And would anyone here happen to know what this connector is for? It has 4 wires going to the circuit boards, and is attached to something under the felt of the keyboard. Tapping it while playing doesn't seem to do much.
