Hi All

Based on the popularity of Vintage D on this forum, I've had it on my list of things to try for a long time. Finally got to it. I am primarily a live performer playing rock / blues with a little jazz ( not my specialty tho ). So I wasn't sure how this would work for me. The classical and jazz demos posted on this forum sound great, but I prefer a bright piano the cuts through a mix. I wasn't sure if this would be possible with the Vintage D, but I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile and tweakable it is.

Took me less than an hour to come up with a sound I liked that I think will work well in a mix.

Here is a brief sample of what I came up with:

( using my Kronos 88 as a controller )

Vintage D test

I can see why you are all so enamored with this.

Can't wait to try this live tomorrow evening.

Cheers

Yeah, it's good stuff. I think the piano they sampled it from was really good and they made pretty good decisions about the sampling and interface, basically.

Good luck with your live performance!
