Rickster 7000 Post Club Member Registered: 03/25/06 Posts: 7197 Loc: Georgia, USA	I have a Kawai K48A upright from 1969 and it is a fine piano, with real one-piece ivory key-tops. The tone is rich and mellow sounding, not bright at all. I bought it from the estate of a music teacher/church pianist and it had been well taken care of. I'm thinking that being well taken care of and serviced regularily is the most important thing with any older piano, with condition, condition and condition being the three most inportant things...
