It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Thanks Eglantine! This is irresistible. I checked it out on the U.S. Amazon site, and added it to my gift wish list (hint to my other half). .
On the other hand, I'm not always a very patient man when it comes to waiting for the music I want. I have no problems with giving myself a birthday present at any time of the year!
In the meantime, let's hear some music from the Andes. I shall probably drift off into a nap and check in later. Here is Rumillajta with "illampu."
excellent Griffin love that big time. I hope you are starting to feel better. It must be getting a tad boring by now being ill. Today i have to do loads of washing up, but will be back later. maybe i should do a bit of washing up at a time instead of doing it all when there are no plates left?

Excellent eglantine, theramin is so cool, and particularly appropriate at the moment as we are getting closer to halloween... I nominate the theramin to be the ultimate halloween musical instrument, of all time.
Lou reed, and warrior king. great sounding track...

He he, hadn't thought of that. They do look like they belong in a scary movie!
So what are your Halloween preps? And bonfire night?
Currently working on: F. Couperin - Preludes & Sweelinck - Fantasia Chromatica J.S. Bach, Einaudi, Purcell, Froberger, Croft, Blow, Frescobaldi, Glass, Couperin 1930s upright (piano) & single manual William Foster (harpsichord)
My halloween preps? Wow, just finished those, where have you been,(click the link in my sig) lol.
Apart from that, I intend to hire 7 dwarves, have them put on masks, and using the spare key, sneak them into young rossys flat, when he is out. Once in there, they can be secreted away in his airing cupboard with instructions to suddenly all jump out in the middle of the night and go wake him up shrieking and jumping on his bed.
Happy halloween young rossy, is what my text to him will say, and also "was that good?"
I feel confident he wont appreciate it !!lol.

Love north london.

It's ok Rossy, maybe you've had a brief spell of accidental waltz syndrome. I'm not going into this now, but u inspired me to reinstall Reason and Pianoteq,(as my lappy has been formatted since the last time I installed them) and have a go at creating something myself, but all hasn't gone well, so I'm gonna have to sort these problems out, and may need your help!
But for now, I'm gonna relax, have a smoke, and watch ur vid again lol, then it's time out for me tonight, night all
So appearantly Halloween has a equivalent to the Grinch. His name is Pat.
I therefore dedicate this video to all my fellow members of the "unsaved community." Enjoy.
(P.S. for those of you not fond of German Death Metal, at least listen up to the chorus at around 1:06, the juxtaposition of heavy guitars to sweeping vocal melody is quite enjoyable and dare I say almost operatic)
Who am I kidding, I can't stop there . . .

It's time for bed, and I am returning to work Tuesday for about 3 hours. I'm pretty sure I can handle that. I won't be posting in the morning, however.
Right now, sit back and relax. I'm signing off with Constance Demby's "Oceans Without Shores."
Good night!

PPP, I so like the lass who played bride of chucky: jennifer tilly. For probably obvious reasons.
Griffin, dont overdo it today will you, we cannot have you not recovering properly, I sincerly hope you dont get what aimeeO has been suffering, a recurence just when you think you are better...do take it easy.
Wayne, glad to have inspired you, when you have reason, get "abeltom live 8" Abelton has a much better sequencer and also can be played in a live situation.
All the devices in reason can be played in abelton live 8 , you just use a function called "rewire" this allows every single device in reason to be played in live8 giving you not only the best of both worlds, but a massive unparalelled soundbank to choose from.
Any help you need wayne just ask, your more than welcome. hope this helps.

No probs Wayne. Today, I woke up thinking a strange thought, this is it: What would be worse?, just before you go out for the day either you have to smear loads of honey under your armpits before putting shirt on.
OR, smearing strawberry jam inbetween toes before putting socks and shoes or trainers on.
and you have to go out for the whole day and bear it. which would be the worst?
I dont really know why I think of this stuff, it might be because I cannot stand having "sticky" on my fingers like jam or marmalade for more than a few seconds.
