Hi. Last week I bought a Zoom H1 and am pretty pleased with it. Any tips on how to get the best out of it? I'm getting a bit of keyboard movement noise. While bass cut reduces it, I was wondering if there are better techniques...

There are only a couple of things I can think of. Firstly, try to reduce the keyboard noise. That doesn't sound like terribly useful advice but a keyboard shouldn't generate a lot of noise. I suffered from a squeaky pedal for a while and I was so glad when that was fixed.

Second, try moving the H1 away from the keyboard (and compensate by increasing the recording level). That should help reduce the amount of additional noise though if it's too noisy it will pick it up.
