Any of you guys know a good edition of Pictures At An Exhibition? I was looking in the music store the other day, and the only available edition is the same crappy old edition I've had for many years- older members will know the edition I'm referring to- it's crammed together, hard to read.

I like Wiener but most recently for fingering I feel the best is Alfred Masterworks. Then third is Henle.

If you want something off-beat, try Katsenelenbogen's Jazz version, some of which is on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZ-W0sY47OY

I use the Augener Edition which I find accurate and as easy to read as "Pictures... " ever gets.
BTW, favourite recorded version, Isao Tomita!

Just make sure its Mussorgsky's original version, not the version edited (and adulterated) by Rimsky Korsakov.

Have any scholarly issues (errors, inaccuracies, new source material, etc.) been raised since the Lamm edition (part of the Mussorgsky Complete Collected Works)?

Have any scholarly issues (errors, inaccuracies, new source material, etc.) been raised since the Lamm edition (part of the Mussorgsky Complete Collected Works)? There has been the inevitable nitpicking, but that was inevitable. I recently found a number of pretty good editions in PDF form on-line. Here's Lamm's version: http://www.musicaneo.com/sheetmusic/sm-2989_complete_cycle.htmlYeah, Rimsky Korsakov editions . . . too lightweight for Mussorgsky, at least for my taste. Same goes for the orchestrated versions, especially Night On The Bare Mountain.
