- If you write "great deal" it's a dead giveaway that you're trying to get more for your piano than it is worth.
Describing a deal as "great" is a sure sign of trouble. The buyer will be able to figure out a great deal on their own. - "Kawaii" is not a maker of pianos (or even an island chain).
Maybe they are selling a cute piano. (Kawaii --Japanese for "cute". Kawai ≠ Kawaii)

I was wondering what the Dickens IS that thing sitting on the right side of the keyboard? Maybe the handle of something jammed behind the keyboard.

I always wonder what the “expert” charged for the appraisal.
Cool name on the plate though.

For a mere $400, you can buy this beauty "now" on eBay. The current owner says, "Works great. All keys and hammers and wires are intact. I would strip the paint if I were gonna keep it." http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-1951-Winter...=item2325118303

No bids on that beauty. It looks like someone did 'strip the paint' already.

Imagine if that person had an 'ebay store' . . . - Old banana peels: two for $25 - Burnt-out refrigerator built in 1975 that has been sitting outside in the rain for two years: $225 - Used syringes, $2.50 each

This one keeps showing up. Someone is REALLY serious about selling it. It get listed about every holiday. If they would nail a can of Spam on the side of it someone might consider taking it. Yuk http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/msg/3452779682.html

Ouch! They sound so optimistic about the usefulness of those brittle plastic parts! These pianos actually did have some interesting innovations. But who cares if it falls apart?!

Square pianos are perfect for collection as you can put one on the other, you need less space than with modern pianos.

Throw a table cloth over that square grand and a family could use it for a dinner table too!
As for the clutter one, I think they need a trash can first and then a vacuum cleaner.

Dan,
I was unfamiliar with a place called Burnaby...and my mind made a little slip when I saw the ad....
I saw a square grand and 'Burnbabyburn!'

Square pianos are perfect for collection as you can put one on the other. Somehow, I'm reminded of a two story outhouse.

The most popular hits I get are the 100 or so calls I get wanting to know how to get the SOLID BRONZE or BRASS harp out of pianos to sell for scrap. You can only tell someone a few 100 times that it's guilded cast iron and magnets only stick to iron and steel. Then they will cut up the strings to get all .98765 cents worth of copper off the Bass strings and spend a week doing that.
Then I get the calls about how they got 6 bucks for the harp at the scrap yard and "it suddenly was not brass " lol

The music rack must be optional.
