Here's the first prelude coming out on youtube, out of the seven, composed by Scott Aaron Miller.
ScottM (<-link to PianoWorld profile) approached me, when we launched EMF, and requested more info about a piano performance. Since then I saw this particular prelude, fell in love with it and decided to perform it myself, as well as publish it along with another six preludes.
Scott (<-link to official bio) is a wonderful guy and composer. Our work and collaboration so far was very enriching for me actually. His advice as a composer fell far further from his own work(s) and I just hope that I've done justice to his works.
Each prelude in the score has a distinct character, thus Scott decided to title the collection as 'Seven Diverse Preludes', ranging from early Rameau to Rachmaninov and even further to Scriabin (as far as the music language is concerned. I'm not talking about timelines here).
So...
For now enjoy this one, even if it feels almost too short and I really hope that I'll be able to add more little by little...

Double post, Steve. Not that I mind of course! ^_^
I think that this prelude (and all in the score, actually, since I've also recorded a couple more today and should put them in youtube shortly) lend themselves to some great performances. It's very clear music, with clear intentions and this makes the job of the performer easier.
I just hope that the above paragraph won't be taken as an effort to spam the forums... It's just a personal opinion on the preludes... that's all!

Thank you very much wr!
I'm doing my best to add more videos (actually apart from the ones shown right now, there's a total of 15 videos uploaded, but I'm bringing them out to light little by little! It makes commercial sense...).
And as you can see I'm doing my best to bring out in the light as much music as possible from living composers! Lets hope that others will enjoy this!
PS. And thank you for enjoying my music as well! ^_^
The piece was written for my own pleasure and has a very intimate air to it, which, I'm happy to say, comes across pretty well. It's almost like being inside an painting of some kind (to me). Maybe Dewing. I'm glad to hear it's appreciated!
