I didn't know it was his birthday and even more I have no idea why this thread is here and not in the "regular" pianists corner... But whateve'!

Ives is one of the few idols I have, and I do think that he's the idol of almost every composer: No publisher, no fees to get his works, no commissions, plenty of performances, a regular paycheck, his own boss... Come on this is brilliant!
