I have an upright which I have been led to believe is from the 50's, but how do I tell for sure?

Looking around it there are several different numbers. But I don't know what are dates, serial numbers, batch numbers or whatever.

If it helps, it's a Ferry & Foster (so probably a stencil).

How can I tell for certain?

Cheers, Mark

Is your upright old enough to date?

It's Saturday and I just finished work. Apologies where necessary.

That won't last. They have a reputation for plucking around.

My Pierce atlas is so old they have to be at least 25 before I can date them.
