I played a concert at the Sydney Conservatorium and I got to play two pianos there that i'd never tried before. The one I was most eagerly anticipating was a Stuart and Sons and it was marvelous to look at and wonderful to play (i won't waste your time with a bunch of adjectives trying to describe the sound) A truly world class piano in every respect. The fit and finish is on par with Fazioli IMO.
The real surprise for me though was playing one of Ron Overs' pianos (No.005 to be exact). I loved this instrument. The action was perfectly responsive and the tonal and dynamic range of this instrument was huge. What a delightful surprise it was to discover this piano.
You Aussies are pretty damned lucky when it comes to home grown pianos i tell ya!
Here are a few iphone pics (sorry for my bad photography)

We also did a concert at the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane and I was happy to find my very favourite piano, a Shigeru Kawai SK-EX (sorry no pics of that one)

Not sure why the photos won't embed. I followed the instructions in the FAQ section. Hmmm....

I've heard recordings of Overs #3 and it was one of the nicest sounding pianos I've ever heard, especially for a sub 9'!
