My youtube video of Prelude in C Major has a matched third party content label on it and I'm under the impression that this should be a public domain work. I don't mean individual publications as far as the sheet music for copying (although the sheet I used is legal for copying for personal and education purposes as long as the copyright notice is not taken off of it) but the piece itself as a composition. I'm guessing this has to be misidentified as a commercial recording? With the big mistake at the end I don't know how that could be the case. The only other thing I can think of is maybe a publisher has rights to one arrangement of the piece and is just claiming any performance they can just because nobody questions it? I'm debating whether to dispute it or leave it be.
I'll figure it out eventually.
Until then you may want to keep a safe distance.

LBE, just ignore that warning. Many of my recordings also get that label, and as best as I can figure out, you don't need to do anything about it.

Firstly - big compliment - it matched you smile

However, you might want to do something about it if the "third" party is getting advert revenue from your playing. There should be a link to learn about the dispute process.

P.S. If by any chance it's JS Bach claiming infringement, let him keep the money wink

I'd dispute the claim - it won't make any huge difference to anyone's bank account but think of the cumulative effect of all these copyright claims - still not a lot of money but I can imagine the music industry making dubious claims about how much 'piracy' happens on YouTube based on spurious claims like this.
