Unfortunately folks, I messed up this weeks DID.. I left it late before asking the next guest, not expecting a problem, but when they got back to me, they are busy performing this week...
It seemed a little late to ask anyone else, and I was busy a bit as well in an unexpected way..

Anyways, should be OK for next sunday//hopefully!

SO, if you get a little bored here is a link to an excellent ZOmbie appocalypse Quiz thats fun..!!!

It takes a couple of mins to load, then you just answer the questions about how you would act in a zombie appocolypse and at the end you get a score and can see where you went wrong!!!

Fantastic posts about Marian Anderson!

I knew nothing about this awesome soprano. Her voice is absolutely beautiful, with an outstanding technique. Thanks Griffin, thanks so much for these excellent posts! I have to hear more from this singer.

Thanks Rossy and Recaredo. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Recaredo, you should know that you motivated me to present Marian Anderson's work a few weeks ago. At that time I posted Leontyne Price's performance of Mozart's "Alleluia." Your positive response to my post made me realize that I needed let folks know about Marian Anderson as well.

I put Truck and it told me bycycle was better, i also put machette, and it told me that a machette doesnt have many other uses?? Ray mears would disagree!!

Sorry for the abrupt departure folks. Recaredo, I just wanted to let you know I'd be delighted to share more music of Leontyne Price and Marian Anderson in the future. One of the problems I had in my research on Marian Anderson was the quality of the recordings. Being they were recorded in the 1940s they were not very easy to listen to. I'll post more in the future when I find things that do justice to her performances, however.

Hi all,

After three days of trying, I finally got to see a dentist this afternoon, owing to a cancellation. Good dentist too. I had the works - teeth and full jaw x-rays galore etc. - and there's nothing wrong with any tooth but looks like some teeth have done a sideways shunt owing mebbee to night-time tooth-grinding. Apparently teeth are made to go up and down in the socket, and don't like the sideways thing, hence can set off lots of pain.

Pain is subsiding, with assistance, and I've found myself a good new dentist that I really like (unlike all the ones I've had before). They even play decent music in the surgery. So kind of a result.

I'll now go and check Pianists' Corner and see what mayhem is going on over there. That place is like some kind of TV soap opera.
