Hello Teachers,

Like to learn Christmas songs.

My level is working through John Thompson Modern

Course for the piano Book 1. I am enjoying the book

very much - lots of nice tunes.

Looking at John Thompson Book 2 - I am not there

yet in playing ability.

So is there a book or books of Christas songs that

are at my level - then I can go down to

the local music store and see if they have it or can

order it in.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Faber's Adult Piano method has a Christmas book called "Christmas For All Time", books 1 and 2. Bk 2 is awesome, although I'm not sure how it compares to your current level of playing. If not for this year, definitely for next.

I love my Faber Adult Christmas Book 1. My favorite song to play is "Angles We Have Heard On High", my teacher helped me add some chords to the melody where they weren't in the book and I absolutely love playing it. The challenge of the added chords when playing Gloria has made it that much more enjoyable for me to play.
