I spend most of my time in the Piano and Digital Piano forums. I thought some of you might find this fun to attend.

Pianist Valentina Lisitsa will be visiting PianoWorks in Duluth (NE Atlanta), GA this coming Thursday, October 11th at 7:00 pm. It is a Free event. CD's and DVD's from her recent Royal Albert Hall concert in June will be on hand for autographs.

Remaining seating is very limited in our showroom, so please visit our website and RSVP for this event if you plan on attending. We are excited to see her again.

Hopefully the Bosies and the Steinways won't start growling at each other on your showroom floor ...

Right now, I have a NY D tucked back to back with a Bosie 280 and we just rolled the Imperial into the hall opposite our Estonia concert grand. Seriously, what else would it take to entice you to take a road trip down? Would it help if I posted Val's picture?

I have seen her play here in Virginia! She played with the Virginia Symphony last year, I believe.

Andy (Cinnamonbear) saw her too in Rockford last year or so.

Last year she was in Atlanta twice with Hilary Hahn - once at Spivey as a charity event for Japanese Tsunami relief and later at Emory for a regular tour stop. Hilary was introducing a series of new encore pieces. The night before that concert, Val came by and visited with a few of our customers here. It was the week of Lizst's 200th...very exciting.

Does anyone know how I may get in touch with Valetina Lisitsa as to an autograph picture.

a. She's busy
b. Doesn't reply to strangers for no reason...

I'm really sorry for be so blunt, but I think that Valentina is a star, which means that she might be fed up with giving autographs or other... :-/ No idea though...

BTW, until recently the messages from NON friends went out of the inbox and to other places, but I think this's changed...

Yeah, the nerve of some celebrities, think they're too good to spend 24 hrs per day on the computer answering every fan-mail.

But I like your style, if the first message gets ignored, just send two more, that's how it's done, wear `em down.

Valentina tends to be quite generous with answering fan questions, and I doubt she would object to signing a purchased CD.

For the record: I would be quite proud if I wrote Greek as well as Nikolas writes English - and more so if I had his talent in composition.

Polyphonist: I love it that you decided to chase me around the forum. What's even more interested (!!!) is that, while you mention "correcting people's grammar..." you've not did (!!!) so, since you just pointed out the error, but not the correct grammer (!!!)
