I'm curious, and almost ordered one, but I got put off by the cost of shipping.
Have you tried it? How do you like it? Did you stop?
Do you want to sell me your used book? Send PM if you've got one to sell. Thanks!

I've got a copy of Scales Bootcamp. I don't recall the shipping being unusually high. I don't use the book much. I had already learned the scales from C major to Db Major and mainly bought the book to help me learn the other scales, but haven't had the time to do so. I still practice the ones that I know and guess maybe someday I learn the others. I may consider selling it to you.
I also have Mr. Johnston's other book, Practiceopedia. I don't think I'll make much use of that book as it is geared to children.

I find advice directed to children is often just as useful for adults. Practiceopedia, for example, has an extensive section on wrong ways of practicing, and what to do instead. I ticked a whole bunch of boxes, and used the advice to change how I practice.
