Been visiting the C.Bechstein site and took a look at their list of pianists who play their pianos.

Beatrice Berthold is one of these Bechstein artists as well as Lilya Zilberstein. Here's a performance by Beatrice Berthold:

I wrote down the names of many of these artists and will eventually try to find their performances on YouTube. This is one way to find artists playing specific instruments and gives one the chance to compare these pianos. At least you can hear something other than Steinway--although I mean nothing against the great Steinway brand.

So, by going to the various piano manufacturer's web sites and jotting down the names of their artists you can then find many of their performances on YouTube--and be able to hear all of the great pianos.

It's possible, perhaps likely, many of these so-called specific brand artists will have performances on YouTube on other than their endorsed brand of piano. In fact I believe, not sure, Beatrice Berthold's above performance has her using a Hamburg Steinway.

Came back to add another link/performance and say that she is definitely playing a Steinway. Great sounding piano. Suppose with enough looking I can find her playing a Bechstein. Still, my approach to finding pianists playing specific brands of pianos is a good one.

Music. One of man's greatest inventions. And...for me, the piano expresses it best.

Also this one by same artist. Sure like her style of playing and the sound of that piano. Note the beautiful treble toward the end.
