I just bought the M-Audio Bx5 D2 monitors for my MP10 and I am pretty happy with them. The mids and high notes sound very natural, the lower bass notes sound a bit more flat, but still acceptable. The monitors also perform well at lower volume and I like their compact size. For me that also a good reason going for the bx5 d2's

I have the On-Stage heavy duty Z-style stand with my Kawai mp8. It's surprisingly portable but exceptionally heavy duty. Rock of Gibraltar, that thing.
Nothing has changed in the last year as far as stands go, though.

frog97: Regarding a stand, I would check out the Yamaha LG800 stand http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-i...800/?mode=modelwhich I believe fits the Kawai MP10 equally well because it has "small round rubber feet" similar to Yamaha 88-key keyboards. I have the predecessor stand to LG800 and it is very good and sturdy.

Hello.
I do agree with you Peter B.
I wanted a good sturdy stand for my heavy Kawai MP10. I ended up purchasing the Yamaha LG800.
