It is a retirement present to myself. I really wanted a V Piano but I cannot justify the extra expense for an instrument that has less adaptability than the less than half price by comparison RD 700.
I was replacing my old RD 300S (from 1990, Eddie Moors Music, Boscombe, Dorset, £1250) which has horribly slippery keys, hence my log-in name, although I decided to leave including the word "horribly" in my name.
I have kept the RD300 though (and my job, well after spending the money I couldn't afford to retire!!!!)

Nobody offers free shipping to AK except BestBuy (free to any store). The best deal I could get on an entry-level DP seemed to be $550 for the PX130, full stand, and 3-pedals at BestBuy.
Since MF had restocked PX330's on sale for $499.99, I explained my dilemma and my $550 budget, and they worked with me to meet that budget and even throw in a M-Audio pedal. BestBuy wants $730 for this combo, so I saved almost $200 and my wife won't kill me for going over budget.

My first "Real" Digital Piano. Bought an EP-9 off craigslist last month and got hooked, so cleaned out the bank account for this. Not one regret. It is INCREDIBLE. Of course, this is coming from a guy with 1 month experience on a digital piano but I did take lessons as a child on an acoustic. Bought sight unseen with nothing to compare it too because I live in a land locked town in Alaska...not a showroom in 1000 miles. But the verdict seems to be out and this piano is simply exceptional.
Packaging arrived in one piece with a few scratches on the side of the box but otherwise in great shape.

What a wonderful Kawai Dealer. Their staff is incredible. Prices there, although 250 miles away, were almost -half- of what the local Mpls/StPaul Dealer offered.

WOW!!! Notice the price difference between Canada and the US for most synths, with Can and US dollars roughly at par, we Canadians are FORCED to pay MUCH MORE, ie. we are DEFRAUDED big time! We pay SOOO much more.
