Hey All,

On the way to work this morning I found a Hammond b3 organ someone was throwing away. Im glad I found it but dont know what to do with it. The bottom keys work but the low ones dont (the bass keys. Maybe it does work and I just dont know how to turn them on. I am not used to these things and I know nothing about them. What should I do? How much does it cost to get these things repaired. I wanna know if it's worth it to get repaired. I dont want to throw it away. I dont know the house I got it from because it was at 5am and I had to go. I had to call my father to pick it up.

I can´t really answer on your question, but I make you hope: When my Farfisa organ once stopped to work, there was nowhere around repair service available. And although nobody has had electric circuit plans of that organ, a local organ dealer with his professional electronic engineer in the service department could fix it: There are so much electric pieces inside, and so few ICs, that you do not so much dependent on original spare parts, but only on finding a professional electronic engieer with a proper multimeter and a soldering rod. So, check some local organ dealers´s service depatments and ask them for their quotation: I am pretty sure that the service engineer will love to have the honor to fix a B3!
