I can see that is was done using Sibelius. I always complained that the 'm' for minor looked like a smaller capital M instead of a lower case m.

Eckshully, all seriousness aside, what ARE they using at college/univ. level these days. In my time, we had Walter Piston and Roger Sessions and a little Xenakis. I thought Walter pretty much covered it - we had his book for advanced counterpoint too (that's an up-all-night course if there ever was one...)
