Anyone knows if an updated model of Yamaha P-155 is coming out soon ? I see the release cycles are around 3 - 3 1/2 years. P-155 was released in Jan 2009, so ...

d*mn!
you're right NikoKiko. It is about time and this would probably be a better option than the new p-105. if they put the (drum roll please) "Pure CF Engine" in an updated version of the P-155 it would still be light weight enough (41 lbs?) to tote around and would have better action than the p-105.
would be nice to know this is about to happen before buying another DP....
Drat...Frozen in place again!!!

I wonder if the P105 was introduced to phase out the P155. Yamaha might figure, if people want GH action make them get an Arius

I wonder if the P105 was introduced to phase out the P155. Yamaha might figure, if people want GH action make them get an Arius Nah. People looking at a P155 slab are probably not also looking at the Arius, different market. Maybe a CP33, if they don't care about speakers. But I don't think people go into a store looking for a particular action anyway. And since they apparently still sell a lot of P155, at a higher price than the P105, I don't think they'll phase out the P155 until/unless there is a $1k-$1200 slab-with-speakers to replace it.
