I am considering the purchase of the Kawai MP6.

However, it is my understanding that there is no furniture stand available for this model.

Anyone have a suggestion for the "best" stand for it as a home-use only piano ?

Maybe there is an after-market product for it ?

Don, you are correct - Kawai does not produce a furniture stand for the MP6.

Perhaps you could contact the person who built this stand for their M10?

Other than that, the best alternative I can recommend is a good quality 'table' stand. Of course, there is also the ES7, with stand and triple pedal accessories.

Kind regards,
James

I have been considering the ES7 but have been led to believe that the MP6 gives me much more control over the tone of my sound. He indicated that the tone controls on the MP6 are much more granular while the ES7 has mostly presets which can only be tweaked in a minor way.

It is fine to hijack this thread on this subject as I think more thoughts on the stand are going to be few and far between.

Also, I have a couple of options I have since located ...

On-Stage also has a very heavy duty Z-style stand. I have it and could not be more pleased. Exceptional stability.
