I posted before about being disappointed in the stand when using single sheets of music, since the pages will curl and fall off. Now I figured out an extremely easy way to fix the problem.. see these pictures:

I just cut up a cardboard box and put it on the stand and now I can put three sheets on it with no problems. The only annoyance is having to remove it whenever I want to put a book or tablet on the music rest...

Looks a little ghetto (may wish to paint it black...), but hey, if it does the job, great. wink

Cheers,

I'd suggest the same concept but use that foam board they use for presentations (you can get it at office supply stores). You can get it in black and cut a line along the bottom half way through, so you can bend it. Then add a little shelf liner (also black) and you will have no problems with sliding music. Let's see if I can dig up a picture of when I did this (these days I use a computer monitor instead).

[later]Hmm. Looked for it but I can't find it. It looked pretty slick, though. Not great for big heavy books but super for loose sheets.
