I am considering to buy a RX-2 BLAK. It seems that Kawai has policy that dealer won't give price if you don't go to his store. So no way to buy a Kawai remotely?
Thanks!

Why would you want to do that anyway? I just tuned a piano today that someone was driving around the countryside in a truck going door to door, selling pianos for a "bargain price!" This person fell for it and bought it. What a total piece of junk. It was the worst piano I think I have ever worked on. You get what you pay for and she most certainly did with NO warranty and nobody to call back should she run into problems which she is doing......

i thought new rx-2 should be consistent with its quality buying either remotely or locally? However, places which sells more pianos should have a better price?

Not necessarily. Prep work counts for a lot when buying a piano. If it isn't prepped at all, you're in for some expense of your own.

Plus, each piano is unique, so even if you've played that model before, you really don't know what you're getting if you buy it remotely. It's quite a gamble on something that relies heavily upon the buyer's tastes.
