It's true that they don't have to be tuned, particularly if they are not played.

Speaking of TLC this one could be worth $13,000-$15,000 with a little TLC:

Well, of course. He sent to the Lexington company to get the value about it, and got a response. It must be a piano that can raise the dead!

OMG! It's the virtual twin to my Hamilton. If you look closely, the legs even look identical. Having the same battered, crazed finish helps...

They differ in several ways, but some of the case components may have come from the same source.

Maybe it's the Halloween season influencing my perception, but this thing looks like it was built by a casket manufacturer.

Pianos like that were fairly common. It probably is not as old as they claim.

Describing a deal as "great" is a sure sign of trouble. The buyer will be able to figure out a great deal on their own.

- "Kawaii" is not a maker of pianos (or even an island chain).

Maybe they are selling a cute piano.

I always wonder what the “expert” charged for the appraisal.

Cool name on the plate though.

For a mere $400, you can buy this beauty "now" on eBay. The current owner says, "Works great. All keys and hammers and wires are intact. I would strip the paint if I were gonna keep it."

No bids on that beauty.
It looks like someone did 'strip the paint' already.

Imagine if that person had an 'ebay store' . . .
- Old banana peels: two for $25
- Burnt-out refrigerator built in 1975 that has been sitting outside in the rain for two years: $225
- Used syringes, $2.50 each

This one keeps showing up. Someone is REALLY serious about selling it. It get listed about every holiday. If they would nail a can of Spam on the side of it someone might consider taking it. Yuk
