Hi Piano World,

This is a piece I recently performed for my 8th grade AMEB piano exam, I received a B+ for the exam.... not too bad I guess..

Anyway here it is, the Handel fugue, I'm not going to lie, this is performed quite poorly. I didn't play like this in the exam... well, I hope not smile

I was in a rush because I was going to get kicked out the hall shortly :-)

All the points that are needed to be exercised are obviously obvious..... More realization and communication between voices, colour changes between episodes, more rhythmic stability, more precise tempo etc... just in a rush... lol

Anyway, just take a listen, feel free to comment, judge, adjudicate, criticize or whatever.

Take care,

Brandon

Glad to hear you did well on your exam. Can you tell us more about how it went or any specific things the judges said?

How did the Chopin Nocturne go? What else did you play? How was the piano, etc.?

Wasn't this piece used as a theme for a famous piece by John Cage?
