There have been points I thought it would never happen. With some pretty crazy stuff happening in the past two semester, I apologize for being vague, but somethings can't talk about.

I finally have a date for my junior recital, though I will be well into my senior year.

April 7th,

Program:
Bach E flat Major Prelude and Fugue WTC book 1
Mozart Sonata k332
Chopin Etude Op. 25 no 1 (Aeolian Harp)

Intermission

Brahms Op. 116
Ginastera Sonata No. 1

I should also add, this is also a very big deal to me. I am a returning student, who was ill my first time around. So the fact that I made it here is very emotional now.

Sounds like a great program! I like the Eb - F - Ab key sequence of the first half.

Two points of coincidence between us: (1) just tonight I was at a used book store looking at the score to Ginastera's first sonata, and (2) I'm giving an informal recital at my house tomorrow at which, like you, I'm concluding the first half with the op.25/1.

Good luck!

That is really cool, I felt it would just fit nicely there. Well I could go on, giving some great sounding artistic reason, but bluntly, I am playing it because it reminds me of a girl I have a crush on.

For 26, I sometimes act like I am 12

jdhampton924 - Congratulations on the recital being set. I hope it goes well and that your health stays good.

beet31425 - How was your recital? I (and probably many others) would be interested to hear about it.

Have you started working on it yet? I have found it to be an effective work out for my abs.
