That's really something....
When I sold my Yamaha U1, a gentleman arrived with a pick-up and a little flat dolly. He put some planks down the stairs (3 steps), some planks from the sidewalk up to the truck bed, and then he put the piano on the dolly, rolled it merrily out the door, down the steps and onto the truck before I could count to 10.

Some men are music lovers. Others make love without it.

Here's my favorite. Not quite a one-man...but close.

That only works if there is plenty of clearance. There have been piano movers who could do amazing things by themselves. This was one of them.

That is an impressive system. I had not seen the video yet.

Although what we use is not designed for one man, it is a one piece jig that is universal with no extra parts. I have used it to set up a grand with no help, but it is not as slick as the Moondog product, for sure.

Thanks for sharing Steve.

PS - For those interested, feel free to watch this video of my guys setting up a grand piano using our jig.

Go to 5:50 to see it in action:

Rich, I had seen your video before and I probably commented then as well. It's great just how well your guys take care when moving and setting up. The wiping down of the surface is a very nice touch.

I've had several pianos moved during my lifetime and the guys I saw never took as much care and attention to detail as your guys did.
