Hi, this is my first post! I bought here in Buenos Aires a Steinway, acoording to serial number must be 1904.

First of all, I suppose it's from Hamburg (rounded keyboard edge) but I don't know about this sign:




What can you tell me? I will upload more photos.

More pics. would help but I agree with BDB. It looks like an O.

I think your question is about the fallboard. Is the standard fallboard stencil of the time is confusing you? No worries. The New York, London, Hamburg thing was standard no matter where the piano was built.
