I don't know the CLP. I think that both the MP10 and NP2 sound great. If weight doesn't matter (huge difference) and if access to non-piano sounds doesn't matter (ditto), I would decide based on which action I preferred.

I would not purchase a DP which does not have a furniture stand available for it.... that leaves the CLP 440.

I wouldn't buy that one either for personal reasons.

Indeed, stage piano or console piano?

Stage piano:
- Yamaha CP1/CP5
- Roland RD-300NX/RD-700NX
- Kawai MP6/MP10
- Nord Piano

Console piano:
- Yamaha CLP-440
- Roland HP-505
- Kawai CA65

Home portable (with stand/pedal options):
- Yamaha P-155
- Roland FP-4F/FP-7F
- Kawai ES7

Cheers,
James

Sorry for not making myself clear ! I am looking more or less at a stage piano that has good quality piano sounds and key action , I will be playing at home most of the time but also have the option of portability to take to band practice . My price range is going to be up to 2300 pounds .

Dazzie2, please bear in mind that the MP10 weighs almost 32 kg, largely due to the wooden key keyboard action. If you plan to be gigging frequently this weight could be a deciding factor.

By contrast, the Nord Piano features excellent acoustic/electric piano sounds, and weighs just over 18 kg, however the keyboard action is inferior to that of the MP10.

Cheers,
James
