Hi guys!
I stumbled upon a great offer (atleast so I think..): used Yamaha CP33 for 470euros + 150 euros shipping = 620 euros. The keyboard is in good condition and includes a solid metal cp33 flight case worth 200$.
Is the price good? Is it worth it?
Thanks!!
Valentin

The CP33 sells new for €999 I believe.
Right of the top I'd see the CP33 used for half and it is less than half, so that's a good start. There are different kinds of flight cases so unless you give more information I can't give an opinion.
I also can't comment on the shipping costs. If this is a reputable seller, it sounds reasonable.
I'd personally prefer to play it before I would buy it. If it's damaged in shipping, you'll have more headaches.
How far away is this keyboard from you?

Hi Dave and THANKS! Well, the deal is cancelled now, I made a mistake by not seeing something about the delivery on ebay. It was a great deal I think disregarding the 1900kms ... I found a local deal (Romania) (without the case) for 630euros. The price for a new cp33 in store is 1200euros here (1111euros on thomann.de), so I think that's good value for the buck?
Can you recomend some good(cheap) online stores for keys from europe?
Best,

The advertised new prices will be the same or nearly the same online.
It might be an idea to plan on buying one outside of your country while on vacation. Line up the sale in advance and bring it back on the return trip home.
I ordered a bicycle to use while on a short vacation in Ireland years ago and brought it back on the plane (to the Netherlands).
Since the prices are high where you are, it might even make sense to buy a few pianos while on vacation and sell them when you get back. The profit you make from one might cover your transportation costs.
The CP33 is a very good piano and I like the keyboard action on the CP33 and CP300 better than the action on my CP5.
