My teacher "introduced" me this amazing composer in November 2012 (i guess). The first time I heard it (music: Le Onde), I did not like much, but after listening more often, I started to love him. I've learned the Le Onde and now I'm finishing Nuvole Bianche smile

The next song I will learn is not from Ludovico, but, maybe, I'll comeback later to him.

I can't believe there is another portuguese in PW, AND he is playing Einaudi!

Just want to say thanks.
I hadn't heard of Einaudi before seeing this thread.
I picked up his Nightbook CD last week and am really enjoying it.
I should look at getting some of the sheet music too.

Nightbook is great. It has some of my favourite pieces.
You can easily buy the books on the Internet. Take a look, here:

Not sure how it is possible, but I am even MORE deliriously happy, because I'm watching Einaudi's Rome concert, streaming live:

Good to know that. My book should arrive within days.
What about "Life"?

Lucky Girl. I want to buy the book as well, but I have a few things to do first bah. What about Life, Run, Experience and Burning? Still relatively easy or much harder?

"Life" has some 16th-note triplet action that scares me. But in the scheme of things, it's fairly easy triplet action (i.e., triplets on the downbeat, none of this 3-against-2 polyrhythm stuff). The left hand is definitely easy.

"Run" looks a little scarier, as it's got some voicing issues that makes the notation a little weird in spots.

"Experience"-- hoo boy. We're talking nonstop 16th notes in different patterns across the two hands. Think "Divenire", without the slow easy part. wink

"Burning": Dead easy. Easier than "Two Trees," even.

I've got "Two Trees" down to where I can play it through, slowly, with a few hesitations and not at all artistically, but it's recognizable. I think it will be my next recital piece. heart

I still can't get over how wonderful this new album and sheet music collection is. 3hearts I played "Two Trees" for my hubby for a Valentine's Day present. (What husband WOULDN'T want a mistake-ridden rough version of an Einaudi piece for Valentine's day?! whome ). I've gotten it to the polishing stage, and now I've added "Underwood" (which is dead easy, maybe his easiest piece yet) to the practice rotation.

I just picked up the Time Lapse book this lunchtime.

These words will probably come back to haunt me, like a bad Croatian Rhapsody sort of way, but:

I think I will start with Experience
