Hi All,
I recently had my piano moving trailer and a clients Kimball grand stolen from
in front of my shop a few days ago. No serial # at this time.
6x12 trailer, silver ,dual axle.Kimball grand Mahogany on it's side just the cabinet inside.
All the parts lid legs lyre etc. I have in my shop. Police are moving very slow so I thought maybe some one
in the piano business may be approached to buy a trailer or a piano.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

John

Give us a hint. Where are you, and when was it stolen?

Yes ,Sorry.

I live in Delray Beach Fl.
It as stolen from in front of my shop/warehouse facility in Boynton Beach.
Last Saturday or Sunday is the most probable day.
6x12 silver/pewter custom for moving pianos.7 foot aluminum ramp w/dollies
blankets E track etc.
And a Kimball grand on it's side strapped to the wall on a dollie.
I have the legs lyre lid and music desk in my shop.
Seems the police are too busy.Posted on PTG Pianotech.
Looking on craigslist, e-bay called all my colleagues etc.
Sent mass e-mails. Called local dealers.
Trying to be as proactive as I can. Seems a bit hopeless at this point.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
John

The piano without the legs and other parts is likely to be dumped. The trailer is all that would have any value.

It is the metal ramp and the trailer that these perps are after. I hope you locate the unit and the piano too. We have this problem around here a lot. Most of the utility trailers I see now have a wheel locking system on one side or both sides these days.

I had a break in about ten months ago and luckily they didn't get much.
So I bought a surveillance system on eBay for $200 with four cameras.
Then someone took a wheel barrel, I couldn't read the incense number but the truck was very distinctive looking.
I kept my eye out and a few days later I saw the truck and sitting in the yard near it was the wheel barrel.

Shaking like a leaf I took the wheel barrel put it in my truck and took off like a BAT OUT OF HE LL.

What I'm saying is for about $200 you can get a four camera system and it's well worth it.

There are cameras that activate when they sense movement and send a text or email on activation.
