Hello, I am a returning piano player having previously played for 8-12 years (8 years seriously 1 hour a day, 4 years just messing around every now and again).

My piano broke a few years ago and I just got round to buying a new one a few months back (Roland RD700nx). I play a mixture of music and am learning for the first time to improvise, arrange and compose pieces, which although I only started doing this yesterday I am thoroughly enjoying it already. Soon I will set up a you tube account to post videos of my amateur playing and improvisations smile

Thank you for the welcome guys. I have exams coming up but after that I may post a few videos on youtube, I will post the link on this forum if it is allowed. ALthough im only an amateur and only started playing again 2-3 months ago I would eventually like to get subscribers on youtube as it motivates me to play when others enjoy listening =).

As for the RD700nx I am very happy with it, it has broken my bank account - that and all the other stuff that comes with owning one (headphones, studio monitors etc) but it was worth it. The key action is just lovely and layering 4 pianos I got a really nice sound for a few pieces. I find editing the piano sounds quite tricky though as one day I think it sounds fantastic and then other days I feel something is wrong with the sound I created.
