Is the piano used in P155, Clavinova CVP series are the same as Motif XF/XS.

I like the Motif XS6 piano (CFIII) which I play daily, But when I tried P155, CVP 505, & Tyros 4 pianos in the store. It’s totally different. Nowhere close to the Motif pianos

P155 was the closest, but still I cant get the same dynamic tone as motif. It sounded like it has less layers.

CVP piano sounded like psr piano. Not worth mentioning it. cursing

Tyros 4 sounded like enhanced CVP piano.

My question is All of these pianos have tag Highest quality/Pure CF sampling (I believe), but I cant get the expression/dynamics that I get on XS piano.

I planned to buy a P155 only for the motif piano with 88 keys , But I’m confused trying these in the store.

.

These boards have differing effect types and architecture but if your talking about the CFIII sample then the underlying piano samples are identical

Still I think Yamaha should make it sound like motif piano, since it's the flagship of slab digital poanos.

I think CP series sounds more towards motif, (I havent tried though)

Also noticed pianos in the Clavinova CLP & CVP series are different. CLP feels & sounds better

So you prefer the piano sound in say a Motif XS or XF to the one in the P-155?

Yes, of course. But the solution seems that I want to carry xs6 all the time

If you want the Motif XS piano sound without having to carry around a Motif XS, you can get the Motif Rack XS and run it from the controller of your choice.

Okay, but how would you say that the Motif XS compares to the current CLP range from Yamaha? The P-155 is a little step below those(?).
