Greetings, Could be somewhere between $12K and $30K. It's worth depends on the instrument's musicality if a musician is buying. It depends on the brand if a dilettante is furnishing a room. Some brands are so consistent that their instruments are interchangeable, for all practical purposes. For these, common prices are understood. The C7's are a known quantity, fungible, even. The more "historically imbued" production lines turn out pianos that are so varied some are dead on arrival and some are lively, responsive instruments. With this gamut of quality, the same price may be a bargain if it fetches the latter and poor investment all around if given for the former. All who will invest in a piano this expensive has to either hire a trustworthy tech, or be satisfied with flying blind. Regards,

Hi! What do you think is a good price on a privately sold Steinway M 1993 in good condition? Thanks! The problem is that the phrase "good condition" has as many definitions as there are sellers and, perhaps, buyers. ddf

Have an experienced tech look at it and appraise it for you. Without seeing the piano, Ed's price range is the best anyone could do.
