I'm thinking of doing some more video game covers, but I want to get an idea of what people like. So I thought we could have fun sharing what are favorite themes are.

If you could only choose 10 of your favorite video game tracks, what would they be, fyi: they don't have to be in any particular order, just say what they are.

I'll go first:

Mario theme (obiously), Zelda Overworld theme (obviously), Halo theme Mjolnir Mix, One Winged Angel (FFVII), Green Hills Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog), Skyrim Theme, Green Greens from Super Smash Bros., Fighting of the Spirit (from Tales of Symphonia), Any Pokemon Song from the Red/Blue Gameboy Soundtrack (pokemon center etc. they're all good), and To Zanarkand (from FFX).

Sorry I didn't put Kingdom Hearts, I've just never played it.

I'm curious as to what you guys will like.

The World of Warcraft track that plays when you take your character to Stormwind will probably go down in history as one of the most classic, recognizable game tunes ever. Millions of people will fondly remember it years from now. It should be on any top 10 list.

Halo 3, Castlevania 2 town theme, Myst III, Metroid -title and Brinstar themes, Borderlands 2 Fyrestone theme, FF 8..I can't remember from what part but it's in Eb (I play it all the time at weddings), Archon theme, A lot of the Bard's Tale stuff is really great.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I have pages of transcriptions from when I was a kid...(and maybe a young adult, too).
