Just saw this over at the music player forums. I'd really like to see an updated PX-3 with the PX-850 specs and finally professional and "new" Rhodes electric pianos, that are on par with all the major contenders (amp simulation, realease sounds, etc). Also an internal power supply and professional outputs would be nice, but I'm probably asking too much there, lol. Is Mike Martin around...I know he can't spill the beans, but are we in for a treat at the 2013 NAMM show as far as professional stage pianos go for Casio? I wonder what the other shards are...

There is a new privia around for sure, there is privia logo on shattered glass.
But it may be a privia successor

That is quite a wish list. Unfortunately I can't divulge anything until the show starts.

The new key action/keybed and piano sounds are really great. I just wish you guys would apply some of the new AIR technology to the vintage Rhodes and Wurlitzer sounds to give us keyboard players a truly killer lightwieght stage piano. I actually owned a PX350 for a week and had to return it, because of the lack of a playable Rhodes sound! I even saw your Joe Sample clips but honestly the sound just wasn't working (I'm a big early Joe Sample fan with the Crusaders). If you guys could put even some of the AIR technology towards the vintage EP department, Casio will have my money!

As with the product life cycle thread. I know the second I buy it (the PX) a new faster harder, better altogether super duper model will be introduced. While the model I buy will be discontinued.
Which has none of the deficiencies of the old model.
This exact thing happened with my CDP200. Was disco'd the day after I bought it.

The PX350 Rhodes seems to be playable enough for Joe Sample.

I like the PX130 Rhodes a lot- I comment to a friend that I feel like I am back in high school sometimes playing it.
Look at the bottom of the shattered glass picture
you see a slider with "5/13"
This implies a 16 track recorder- maybe digital like the Roland Juno Gi?
The slider is either track 5 of 1-8 or track 13 of 9-16.
Perhaps these sliders are also drawbars.
So is this a 88 key piano/workstation/digital recorder??
I assume it will use SD cards?
Does it have internal speakers?

(yeah, apologies for bringing that up again...)
Don't apologise. It should be law that every cool electric piano sound be fully documented and the info included with the purchase of the work. ;^) Greg.

Don't mean to throw you too far off with our clue. The wrong photo was posted. The prototype product that was photographed had something labeled 5/13. The /13 is not on the final product, just a 5. ;-) 8 tracks will do can always bounce tracks lol! had to do that in high school with the tascam
