I'm almost ready to purchase a Digital Piano (Yamaha DGX640) and see that my local dealer can't match the prices online. (He doesn't seem to know too much about some of his inventory either and can't really provided effective support). So, I'm considering purchasing from Kraft Music. I'm wondering whether anyone has ordered a DP from them? If so, how was the shopping experience? I see that they get excellent reviews at ResellerRatings.com, but that doesn't always mean much.
Also, How is their after-sale support? Will they help with difficulties encountered in learning the various functions of the DP or it's UI?
Bert, I usually think like you regarding price - mostly when I buy computer hardware etc..
But since I got quite a good experience in my local shop where I could test different digital pianos etc I will probably buy from them even if they are circa 70 EUR more expensive than online sellers. Why, well if I don't support them they might disappear, and finding the right instrument is easily worth 5% or whatnot of the transaction price.
Another reason to purchase a digital piano locally is in case of warranty repair, I'll just drive down to the shop, instead of paying for expensive (and potentially for the piano dangerous) shipping.
If Kraft gives extensive after purchase support, other than say warranty repairs, I must say I'm impressed, since low prices should mean less money and time for those things.
