So sad to hear.
My thoughts and prayers are with Apple and her family !

Peace and best wishes to Apple. Like many others, I never knew about this. There was one time that I noticed her making a subtle reference that sounded like there might be some such issue, and I tried quietly to ask if she might say more but she chose not to. I didn't ask again but realized she might be fighting a heroic battle that she wished to keep private. Thanks to Apple for all her positivity and her great contributions to this site, and wishing that she is as much in peace as possible.

Very sad news indeed. I've "known" Mary since shortly after joining the forum. She has always been unfailingly polite, positive and helpful. She deserves a peaceful ending surrounded by people who love her. I'm sure there are many.

Needless to say really sad to hear this. My prayers are with her and her family.

Apple has been and forever will be, intertwined within the fabrics and threads of Piano World. I have always enjoyed reading her comments.

Apple was active when I first joined PW. I was sorry to hear about this.

I never met Mary in the flesh, though we talked on three forums. I'm sure she knows that she has touched a lot of people.

That's worth repeating... especially when you consider that, with 19,861 posts, apple* holds the distinction of being the PW member with the greatest number of posts!

Even after throwing out the high and low score, the only scores left are still all high! What a unique and wonderful person Apple is who went out of her way to bring happiness and friendship to everyone she touched.

Thank you Apple for just being you.

you are leaving a beautiful legacy--your beautiful children, your community and family at home that love you, and the community you helped to build here online.

It is quite amazing how you can feel connected to people you've never met in person, value and esteem them, appreciate them, and grieve for them.

Apple, you made a wonderful contribution here, you will be missed indeed.
