Good morning Rossy! Tim Blake's "New Jerusalem" was TREMENDOUS! I absolutely loved it. I had never heard of it before. Thanks.

Rossy, when words are inadequate, we do have our music! We'll exchange our words a little later in PM. I need to get work. However, I leave you with this music from the Andes, "Cielo y Montaña" by Rumillajta.

Good Wednesday everyone. It's morning on this side of the Atlantic, and I'm getting ready for work. First, however, I have a few things I want to share. I've been listening to Tracy Chapman since the late1980s. I decided to check out some of the music she's been doing since I last bought her albums.

Here's one I particularly enjoyed, "Telling Stories."

One of the first songs I heard Tracy Chapman perform in the 1980s was a protest song, "Talkin' Bout a Revolution."

My final post is something I just recently discovered. Here is Tracy Chapman singing, "All That You Have is Your Soul."

I'm off to work. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!

Excellent griffin, thanks, what a posting!!! Tonight mine is going to be short and sweet, but there is a PIANO in this... see if you can spot it...
dudes and dudettes, Rossy gives for your perusal and pleasure "the purple helmets" ( possibly not the best stunt riders in the world but certainly one of the funniest bunches)

Wow!PPP, one day that girl is going to make some dude a very very very unhappy husband indeed...
Unless every man in the world can get to watch the videos and avoid her like the plague.
That is one very disturbed human being indeed.lol.

Rossys prediction of the day "Euro, it was not nice to know you, it is not sad to see you go, good bye and good luck" This prediction should come into force approximately in time to ruin the worrying kinds Christmas.. ( come on Italy , its your turn now)
Will be back with some more music a little later.

Probably one of the best and memorable intros of the seventies came from be bop de luxes sunburst finish albumn, with the track "fair exchange"

Still sounds as great as ever to me anyways....

Good Thursday everyone! Hey Rossy! Thanks for that posting. I had not heard of be bop deluxe before. Loved it! Thanks.

I have a few to share before I dash off to the office. My friend, Louis, introduced me to Merry Clayton recently. Here is "Grandma's Hands".

It was difficult choosing this next one. There are so many gifted vocalists who have performed "A House is Not a Home." I finally settled on Alicia Keys. She not only does a beautiful performance, this may also be the first time I've posted her music. It won't be the last time! Enjoy!

Hey everybody!

Not a fan of this time change cold weather stuff. I sleep too much and become very lazy.

Hope all is well with everyone. Great posts, though.

Griffin, I haven't heard Tracy Chapman in ages. I remember falling in love with Fast Car when it came out. I think I have a couple of cassettes of hers floating around here somewhere.

Now for what I've been listening to...

Well, Billy O has bought a new guitar pedal. It makes the guitar plugged in sound like a sitar.
So, now you must all join me and listen to sitar music as well.
Here's the Yardbirds.. Apparently they recorded their first attempt with this song using a sitar 6 months before the Beatles did Norweigan Wood.

This is a dedication to my step father who died on saturday night.
I'm an occasional reader of this thread so I only just read the sad news. My sincere condolences Rostosky.

Best regards,
