Not sure what part of PA?
Have you played the piano or had it checked out by a tech?

Moving a console in a van is quite easy with a van and I've moved e few by myself.
Couldn't you find a closer piano maybe one you could see and evaluate?

You could go rent yourself a van with a rear mount wheel chair lift, most of those lifts are rated at 650 pounds. We have several of those vans with E track in the back for strapping in pianos. They work great for getting in and out of tight areas.

Anyone who would do that move for less than $300, I wouldn't want moving my piano. There's a lot more to moving a piano than most people realize.
Proper equipment, know how, and experience can not be overlooked. Professional movers always make it look too easy. One wrong slip, especially on stairs, and you can be dealing with broken bones and serious injuries. And I've been cautioned not to let uninsured movers on my property.
I was thinking $700 (plus stairs) as reasonable costs.

I do have two suggestions: Duffy Piano Movers or RHS Piano Movers - (215) 284-6615. Both of these companies are Philly area based, but go between your area and NY regularly. Good Luck,

We just quoted a newer Baldwin M grand move to Macon Ga from Nashville TN for 450 dollars express in a heated truck. They almost fell over, said they were expecting maybe 100 dollars? How?? Fuel and trip permitting in Georgia would be half easily.
So we watched as they took the pristine piano and put it in a pickup truck which was last week during all the rain, no tarp, no padded shrink wrap. I don't want to be that tech that tries to get that piano back in order. Blows my mind sometimes
