I couldn't find much online about this keyboard. I am a tuba player in high school looking to pick up piano, and found this used in my area for $200, may be negotiable. It doesn't come with a stand, but I found another used one from someone else for $15. What are your thoughts on this piano? According to specs, it has graded hammer keys, and it does have 3 pedal inputs. It also features 126 polyphony. I'm seeing it on Saturday to see the feel, but was wondering what were the current opinions on this. Keep in mind I am a total beginner. Thanks in advance grin!

Wow $200 for a case of tendonitis! Seriously run away from that as fast as you can.
I owned one, it had the worst action of any digital piano I have ever played.
It started making metallic clicking sounds after 2 months and within 6 , two keys would stick.

You would do much better with a used casio! As a controller it had a lot of potential. Really, if they had licensed an action from someone else and made it more reliable it could have been great.

The action is so bad it could actually cause you more damage than good. Anything else is probably better.

I knew that it had to be too good to be true. As I said, I couldn't find anything about it online. I had my eye on the Casio privia's, but couldn't find them used. Before I save my money for that, are there any other other suggestions that might be available used?

Any of the older Yamaha , the P70 ,P85, P95 would be fine for a beginner. Also there is the casio px-110, PX-120, PX-130. Many of these can be found cheap used. Buying used can be hit or miss proposition, you never really know how much longer it will last. But when the money is tight, you make due. I have seen the previous boards I mentioned at garage sales and consignment thrift shops for under $200. And I also seen them in pawn shops.

Some Music stores usually have a used digital piano they took as trade in around.
