It is a better piano than what is in 80% of all college practice rooms. That's not to say that a grand piano wouldn't be appropriate at a later date, but many professional pianists don't have a piano that good at home to practice on. You have a real beauty. Could your daughter outgrow it? Yes. But unless she becomes a concert pianist or at least a piano major in college, that piano will do you just fine for many, many years.
